This place is a hot mess! If pick up is only available from 10am-6pm then the mailman should write it on the delivery notice. I was there at 9:30am and asked politely if they could get my package and the front desk lady said she would help me if no one else was in line. I waited for everyone to be helped and she nicely went to the back to get my package. Returns 10 minutes later and says she can't find it and by now there are like 3 people in line so she says I can't help you, you have to come back. What kind of service is that? And how disorganized is the back that they can't find a package in 10 minutes?! 10 to 6pm is a very inconvenient time for anyone who has an office job. I was late to work for nothing.
Advice: Stop wasting millions of dollars on Marketing and invest in better customer service training at the branches. That is why people don't use USPS and prefer Fed-Ex or UPS, at least they provide a better consumer experience.
Ok this is a 2 in one review. First: to pick up packages they didn't leave at my location. That's a hot mess. You can ring that bell a million times. You'll wait a million hours. But when it comes to the front desk. There's a man and a woman mostly there. Same people. They always recognize the repeat clients. And they are always willing to help with anything. Even finding the packages from that door that takes forever for someone to answer.
My family traveled to Destin for vacation this week. True to my character I left my debit card at home(I am always misplacing things, etc). My cousin who was watching our house for us mailed my debit card to the condo we are staying in. To complicate things even more Resort Quest at the Beach House Condiminiums was closed on Saturday, which made accessing the locked mailboxes here impossible. I drove to the local post office and explained my situation. They were so very helpful. Had the post man deliver to my condo door, whicH I somehow missed!!! I almost cried when I saw the missed delivery letter, then my phone rings. It was the local post office 35 minutes after closing!!! The man working there let me retrieve my package from him after the post office was closed! This is exceptional service! They treated my situation as if it was as important to them as it was to me! So I'd like to say thanks again to the Miramar post office! Fabulous people! Top of the line service!
I still don't understand why the south end mail box ( of this Community) delivery is not consistent before every businesses and banks ( including the west coast of the country) can't be delivered at a time when we can pay our bills before everything closes. This has been a problem since moving here in December 2015. Why are there 2 different deliveries from 2 different postal workers. How much longer is this going to continue ?
Spent 10min going through an automated system for a lost package. Entering "0" doesn't bypass the system so you can speak to a rep. I only happened to get a dial tone when I uttered "I just want a represntitive" and some how it managed to hear "represntitive" (mind you it's not even an option from my understanding) and I'm met with "approximate hold time one hour twenty minutes" this place is empty 7/10 times. The phone is never ringing in there. So where is my call waiting at? They lost my paycheck from job and now I'm struggling with bills because of a check I was suppose to receive 9 days ago.
